- Endangered Species Presentation -
•
Our School Assemblies are dynamic, exciting, and leave a lasting impression. These are assemblies that deliver more than great science, amazing nature, and a fun time. This is an Assembly program that helps students understand and appreciate the importance of concepts like “empathy,” “kindness,” “responsibility,” and “stewardship.”
The environmental topics of biodiversity, habitat loss, sustainable development, natural resources, carbon sequestration, micro-climates, and interdependency, are explored. Poaching, IUCN Red List threatened and endangered status, the role of zoos, preserves, and parks, are explained. Specific species are discussed as examples of endangered animals. The role of professional conservationists and related career paths are included.
We discuss the community service ethos and the need for student leadership. Role models in student conservation are presented.
Our program features multi-media presentations that include a live interactive presentation augmented by video.
At this time, this presentation is available in Northern California only. However, we are growing and will get to your school district just as soon as we can!
